Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and other tracking technologies (“Cookies”) to provide and improve the Site:

Minors

Our Website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under the age of 16 without affirmative authorization. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

Section 8

Use of artificial intelligence and automated processing

Yes NOVO embraces an “AI-First” strategy, prioritizing the integration of artificial intelligence across business functions to drive efficiency, innovation, and customer value. We are committed to leveraging AI responsibly while maintaining data privacy, ethical standards, and human oversight at every stage.

  • Analytics and personalization. AI-driven analytics to understand website usage patterns, detect technical issues, and improve content. We may also personalize content or recommendations based on your interests.
  • Customer support and chatbots. AI-powered chatbots or virtual assistants on our Site to help answer FAQs, guide you through resources, or provide initial customer support.
  • Explore with NOVO conversation logs. When you use the “Explore with NOVO” conversational surface, your messages and the AI's responses are processed by our AI provider to generate replies. We retain a transcript of these conversations for up to 90 days for safety review, abuse prevention, AI guardrail improvement, and quality assurance. Transcripts are tied to an anonymous session identifier and are not joined to identifying information unless you submit your name and email through the consultation handoff form. After 90 days, transcripts are purged.
  • Visitor analytics and behavioral tracking. When you visit our Site we use third-party visitor analytics services to record page views, time spent, and return visits for site improvement and customer-context purposes. Behavioral tracking is only loaded after you accept analytics in the cookie banner.
  • Marketing and communications. Automation in some communications. CRM software may use rules or algorithms to send timely, relevant content based on your interactions.
  • AI model improvement. We may use feedback or usage patterns to train and improve our machine learning models. When we do this, we typically aggregate or de-identify the data. We do not sell your personal information for use in AI model training by third parties.
  • Human oversight and accountability. Our internal AI Usage Policy mandates compliance with applicable data protection laws, role-based access controls, periodic bias audits, and an AI governance committee.
  • Third-party AI service providers. Where third-party AI platforms process personal data collected via our Website, those providers are bound by contractual obligations consistent with the safeguards described in Section 6.

No automated decisions with legal effect

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that produce legal or similarly significant effects without meaningful human involvement. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide required notices, opt-outs, or consent opportunities before deploying such technology.

Section 9

Data security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Payment transactions are encrypted using SSL technology and processed through our payment gateway provider's database, accessible only by authorized personnel bound by confidentiality obligations. After a payment transaction, your private financial information is not stored on our servers.

Our internal AI governance framework requires data encryption in transit and at rest for all personal or corporate data used by AI systems, as well as access controls based on the principle of least privilege.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Do not share your password with anyone.

No system is perfectly secure. The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we take significant steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its security. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us may no longer be secure, please contact us immediately using the information in Section 14.

Section 10

International data transfers

Yes NOVO is headquartered in the United States. If you are accessing our Site or providing information from outside the United States — including from the EEA, UK, Canada, or other jurisdictions — your personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction.

Whenever we transfer personal data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). For personal data originating from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we use the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (or, for UK transfers, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum).
  • Additional safeguards. Data encryption, pseudonymization, and enforcing data minimization for data leaving its country of origin.
  • Other approved mechanisms. Where applicable, we may rely on adequacy decisions or compliance frameworks such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

By using our Site or submitting your personal information, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred internationally as described above, and we will take steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

Section 11

Children's privacy

Our Website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Consumers under 16. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under the age of 16 without affirmative authorization — from the consumer directly if aged 13–15, or from a parent or guardian if under 13.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the relevant age without proper consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@yesnovo.com.

Section 12

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required or permitted under applicable law. The table in Section 2(D) provides category-specific retention criteria. General principles:

  • We periodically review our retention practices to ensure we are not keeping data longer than necessary.
  • When personal information is no longer required for its original purpose, we will securely delete or anonymize it, unless retention is required for legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.
  • If you request deletion of your data, we will delete or anonymize it, unless we are legally required or permitted to retain it. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. If you delete User Contributions, copies may remain in cached and archived pages.

Section 13

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page with a notice that the policy has been updated and will notify you by additional means where required by law (such as email notification to registered users or a prominent notice on our Site's homepage).

We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of this page. Your continued use of our Website after any update to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes, to the extent allowed by law.
